Disability Advocacy that Gets Results.

Ones that matter.

I am a legally qualified NDIS Disability Advocate with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and experience supporting participants through ART proceedings and achieving positive funding outcomes.

My approach brings together legal training with practical, frontline NDIS experience as a Support Coordinator. This combination gives me a rare skillset: a detailed understanding of NDIS plans and funding decisions, clinical evidence and the review process, together with an understanding of how those decisions actually affect a participant’s supports and everyday life.

I also bring lived experience to this work. I have been the Child Representative for an NDIS Participant since 2020, so my understanding of the NDIS does not come solely from professional practice. I understand what it is like to be on the participant and family side of the system too.

I bring all of that experience to every ART matter I accept.

I don’t simply attend meetings as a support person. I actively work your matter.

That means reviewing the NDIA’s decision and position, identifying evidentiary gaps, reviewing and coordinating supporting evidence, managing correspondence, engaging with the NDIA and its legal representatives, preparing documentation and advocating for your position as the matter progresses.

You deserve an advocate who understands your story, understands the evidence and comes to the table prepared to advocate for what you need.

ART Disability Advocacy by Alyson Lewis of Propel Pathways

This is a privately funded service and cannot be charged to your NDIS plan.

I offer a limited number of private advocacy and case preparation engagements for participants and families navigating an Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) review of an NDIS decision.

I intentionally limit my private ART caseload alongside my Support Coordination work so that every matter I accept receives the time, preparation and attention it deserves.

Fees are paid privately by the participant, their family or another person or organisation funding the service on their behalf.

My advocacy services are charged at a fixed fee. This gives you certainty about what you will pay.

Initial Stage ART Advocacy

I provide advocacy and case preparation from the ART application stage through to the first Case Conference, including helping you with your application if you haven’t yet applied, support and guidance on Lived Experience Statements, Carer Impact Statements, Clinical Letters of Support, preparation for and attendance at the first Case Conference.

ART Application to First Case Conference – $4191.80 including GST

The fee applies to this stage of the matter whether the matter resolves before or during the first Case Conference

Additional Time Blocks

If your matter progresses past the first Case Conference, additional support is charged at $209.59 including GST per hour, billed in 5 hour blocks ($1047.95 including GST). If your matter is resolved within the additional time block, you will be refunded support time that was not used. This option is only available for Applicants who have engaged me during the Initial Stage.

List of Requested Supports only

I can prepare a comprehensive List of Requested Supports on your behalf, clearly setting out the supports you are asking the NDIA to fund and linking each request to the relevant supporting evidence. This means you can concentrate on your Lived Experience Statement instead.

Standard List of Requested Supports – $2095.90 including GST
For matters involving commonly requested Core and Capacity Building supports.

Complex List of Requested Supports – Price on Application
For more complex matters involving extensive evidence, multiple or unusual supports, Home and Living, Assistive Technology or other matters requiring substantial individual analysis and preparation.

Already Partway Through Your ART Matter?

You may already have commenced your ART review before seeking advocacy support by Propel Pathways and be past your first Case Conference.

I can consider matters at later stages of the ART process, including matters involving Targeted Questions, further Case Conferences and preparation for Hearings.

If your ART matter is already underway, please contact me and let me know what stage your matter has reached, what supports remain in dispute and any upcoming ART dates or deadlines.

I will review where your matter is currently at and advise whether I have capacity to assist and the scope and cost of any advocacy services I can offer.

Payment Terms

ART matters are often time-sensitive, with deadlines and important dates that need to be worked around. Once I accept your matter, I want to be able to give it the time and attention it requires and progress the work without interruption.

For this reason, your Service Agreement must be signed and your invoice paid in full before I commence work on your matter.

Unfortunately, I am unable to offer payment plans, payment arrangements or pay-as-you-go advocacy for ART matters. This allows me to properly allocate the time required to your matter from the outset, particularly where documents need to be reviewed, evidence prepared or correspondence undertaken within a particular timeframe.

Once your Service Agreement and payment have been received, I can commence reviewing your material and progressing your advocacy.

If you have an upcoming Case Conference, hearing or other ART deadline, please keep this in mind when deciding when to engage my services.
